JOB SUMMARY

Functions as the strategic business leader of property operations and acts as General Manager in his/her absence. Areas of responsibility include Front Office, , Retail/Gift Shops, Recreation/Fitness Center, Housekeeping, Security/Loss Prevention, Engineering/Maintenance, Food and Beverage/Culinary and Event Management, where applicable. Education and Experience

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 8 years’ experience in the management operations, sales and marketing, or related professional area.

4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 6 years’ experience in the management operations, sales and marketing, or related professional area.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Profitability and Departmental Budgets

Keeps operations team focused on the critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and the desired financial results.
Ensures that all operational areas have an atmosphere that is conducive to the overall guest experience.
Reviews financial reports and statements to determine how Operations is performing against budget.
Ensures capital expenditure funds are being used to address the priorities outlined in the service strategy.
Works with direct reports to determine areas of concern and establishing ways to improve the departments’ financial performance.
Strives to maintain profit margins without compromising guest or employee satisfaction.
Identifies and analyzes operational challenges and facilitates the development of solutions to prevent reoccurrence.

Leading Property Operations Teams

Establishes a vision for product and service delivery on property.

Managing and Conducting Human Resources Activities

Observes service behaviors of employees and providing feedback to individuals and/or managers.
Hires operations management team members who demonstrate strong functional expertise, creativity and entrepreneurial leadership to meet the business needs of the operation.
Conducts annual performance appraisals with direct reports according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Duties

The incumbent is responsible for the accountability and storage of expendable and non-expendable supplies such as cleaning supplies, office supplies, Automobile, furniture and maintenance supplies.

S/he responsible for the proper organization and appropriate storage of expendable and non-expendable contents in the warehouse.

Ensures available space is optimally utilized in all stockrooms and that items have adequate protection from damage or loss, as well as, ensures the efficiency and cleanliness of warehouse buildings and grounds.

S/he directly supervises four expendable and non expendable supply clerks and two warehouse men.

Additionally, s/he monitors preventive maintenance of all warehouses handling equipment. Follow up any repair works needed.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years supply experience in a large warehouse is required, one of the years will be as a supervisor.

Job Knowledge: Must have good knowledge of stock control and standard warehousing procedure.

Education Requirements: Completion of Secondary School

Language: Level III (Good working knowledge) speaking/writing/reading in English is required.

Skills and Abilities:

Basic Function of the Position – The incumbent reviews suspected fraudulent documents and makes preliminary judgment regarding authenticity.

S/he interviews applicants presenting fraudulent documents and elicits information on where the documents were acquired, makes preliminary determination of bona fides, and alerts consular officers to potential problems.

S/he conducts verification and case assessment both over the phone and in the field, to verify the authenticity of documents and claims by applicants. Directly supervised by Consular Fraud Prevention Manager .

Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:

Experience: Four (4) years work experience as an investigator or fraud examiner for the Police, Court, Law Firm, Insurance Company, Government or private agency is required.

Job Knowledge:

Knowledge of the Nigerian legal system, bureaucracy, customs, family relationship norms, and ethnic groups, as well as knowledge of Nigerian financial fraud, specifically common techniques and trends.

Knowledge of basic fraud detection techniques – forensic and interrogatory are required.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Psychology, Forensics, or Criminology is required.

Evaluations

Language: Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing in English . Level IV speaking/reading Hausa, Igbo or any one of the over 500 local languages spoken in Nigeria is required.

Skills and Abilities:
